Hi. i am from Vancouver B.C and i bought mine online from www.vissbeauty.com for like 545 USD. So basically 546 CAD with our strong dollar right now, And the shipping was free!, could have been a promo but i think its still free shipping anyways a great investment! Friends come over all the time to use it, far to often! good luck.

Question by : Cost of full Brazilian laser hair removal?
On average how much is the cost of a full Brazilian bikini treatment? Do you have to go more than once? Looking for total price, not price per “pulse” or per session….that doesn’t help me. Thanks!

Ladies, advice on laser hair removal for men?

May 14th, 2012 2 comments

Question by Alister: Ladies, advice on laser hair removal for men?
What’s your opinion on laser hair removal for men. I know a lot of women get their bikini zones done and it’s probably not a big thing. I keep my “zone” neat for my gal but its a decent amount of work. I’m thinking about this but I imagine it being a pretty uncomfortable experience socially for a guy. Does anyone have any experience in this issue?

Why waste your money, leave them sexy hairs grow. Some men would pay big money to buy a nice bunch oh hair. One more thing for a girl to run her fingers thru,

Laser hair removal – should I do it?

May 12th, 2012 11 comments

Question by Staci J: Laser hair removal – should I do it?
First of all, I should mention that I am a cross dresser, but have been gradually doing things to become more feminine. I’ve been considering getting laser hair removal for my face. I’d love not having to shave any more. And, of course, it would be wonderful if I could wear makeup all day without sign of needing to shave again. But at the same time I guess I’m a little worried about being “too feminine” for times when I can’t dress as a woman.

Do you think I should go for it?

Electrolysis or Laser Hair removal. Which is more effective at removing hair? Cost and Treatment time, too.?

May 5th, 2012 2 comments

Question by turquoise2k: Electrolysis or Laser Hair removal. Which is more effective at removing hair? Cost and Treatment time, too.?
Many years ago I wanted to have my hairline re-shaped by Electrolysis. I was told that during treatment I would have to let the hair “grow back” between each session. Just the thought of having regrowth visible along my hairline seemed pretty embarassing a choice. I was told that Laser removal pretty much followed the same steps. Is this true?

Laser hair removal works very well, but be careful. It can also cause premature balding!

Question by JoeBertt: Getting only one treatment with laser hair removal?
Im a guy with kinda hairy legs and i want get “SOME” of it removed through laser… i was wondering if thats possible at all with only partial treatments instead of all necessary to fully remove the hair

Best answer:

Answer by *scorpiogirl*
that definately is possible.

the person doing your lazer will defiantely keep you wanting to come back becuase it`s more money for them, but you need to assess your legs and see if the treatment will be worth it.

What’s the best type of laser hair removal?

May 1st, 2012 No comments

Question by Elly & Pao: What’s the best type of laser hair removal?
The clinics I’m looking at offer “Cutera,” “CoolGlide,” and “Sheer.” Are these different, or just brand names of the same thing? Is one better than the others?

I’ve already tried http://www.hairremovalforum.com/guidebook/know-your-lasers.htm but that didn’t really help.

Cutera’s system is called the Coolglide. The Sheer is probably the Lumenis LightSheer. Both are good systems.

Reveal MedSpa Alase laser hair removal- any good?

April 27th, 2012 4 comments

Question by Noel: Reveal MedSpa Alase laser hair removal- any good?
I live in the D.C. area and am curious about this new “Alase” laser hair removal offered at Reveal MedSpa. Has anyone had it done? Does it work? For how long? Is everyone really a registered nurse/ nurse assistant? The FDA website says that nobody can advertise “pain-free” laser hair removal but Reveal MedSpa advertises the “Alase” laser to be pain free. I also don’t think it’s FDA approved. It says on the website…

“if you’ve heard that laser- or light-based hair removal may not be an option for you, think again. Reveal is one of the few providers to offer this cutting-edge, FDA-approved technology”

It says Reveal MedSpa offers the FDA-approved technology (laser hair removal) not an FDA-approved laser. It seems like they’re trying to trick people into thinking that the “Alase” is FDA-approved- is this place legit?

Best answer:

Answer by Elizabeth
no matter what laser hair removal you have done, the hair will grow back. less frequently, yes, but laser hair removal is not a one-time-thing-&-you’re-done.
the *technology* may be FDA approved, but that does not necessarily mean the treatment is.
“if it seems too good to be true, it is.”
my grandma tells me that, and it’s never steered me wrong.
