The patient goes home with an external cast or splint in place. The nose may be packed for 24-48 hours. The splint is usually removed in 7-14 days.

Initial discomfort is easily controlled with oral medication.

Majority of swelling and bruising subsides progressively over 2-4 weeks.

External sutures (if any) are removed in 4-6 days. Internal sutures dissolve.

Semifinal result is evident in 3 months. Final result is evident in 12-14 months which is the time necessary for complete resolution of post-op swelling.

anywhere from 3500- 7500 and not covered by insurance if for cosmetic reasons

I’m not sure if plastic surgery is the correct word, but is there like a way to have your teeth changed?

I hate my 2 front teeth – they’re slightly larger (not huge) than most peoples, and I just hate it when I smile because it stands out a bit :L

Here’s just one that was posted on Consumer Affairs.com

“I had my LSL procedure done on March 17, 2010. What a painful disaster. My face was pulled back too tightly and the technique Dr. C used caused large puckers on my temples (like Frankenstein knobs). I couldn’t go out in public for 4 weeks and the scars behind my ears are still painful. In the meantime, I went to a well-known plastic surgery and paid $ 1900 to have the puckers removed in June 2010.

Thank god, he knew what he was doing. He has recently released me as his patient and is going to mail my medical records to me, including the before and after picture he took. I’m going after Lifestyle Lift as soon as I received the medical records. I’m going to get my $ 1900 back at the very least or I’m going to go to one of the local TV investigators with pictures in hand to show what was done to my face.
Lifestyle Lift is the biggest scam happening. “
