I have never registered with any of the State or Government no call list and never had a “problem” with telemarketers harassing me.
This great state of connecticut had a huge campaign on a few years ago all kinds of marketing to get you to register you cell phone numbers otherwise you would be harassed by telemarketers.
They really tried to intimidate and scare people with the idea you would go broke being charged for the calls unless you register you cell phone with the state…..BULL!
I didnt register and they never have called!
Its a scam to have everyones name, numbers and address for state and federal government use………and records for whatever reason that may be. Just more control, less rights for us more for them!
What I am saying is I did not register on the no call lists as told and I still do not get any telemarketers calling me on my hard line phone or my cell phone! So why all the hype by the state, what they said would happen has not! And my #s are on no state of federal no call list!

I would like to propose a bill that would put restrictions on who can an can’t have plastic surgery. Here is my proposed “bill”:
Under 21: You may not have plastic surgery unless for medical reasons. The reason for this is to show teens that getting plastic surgery just for looks or to satisfy some need is VERY dangerous-especially since teens bodies are still growing and forming.
Over 21: You may have plastic surgery, but there is a restriction on how many you can have. Also, prices of recieving plasic surgery should be raised to further imply that plastic surgery for non-medical reasons is dangerous and wrong. Prices for medical plastic surgery would not be raised.
I think that if this was a law it would really help people understand the dangers of plasic surgery. I believe that it is wrong to go through all that work just for looks. And why would you want to pay thousands of dollars for breast implants? What is your opinion on my idea?

No, I like it as a personal rule or even as a rule to teach my children (when I have them!)
But, laws should not take away from a person’s right to choose. It would be like me telling somebody how many tattoos or how many piercings they should have. I can’t tell a person what to wear based on what I think looks ugly on them– even if their clothes cost thousands of dollars and they look hideous.
Laws are there to protect a person and their freedom to do as they choose.
I find plastic surgery ridiculous in most circumstances except the ones you stated, but I still think people have the right to choose, even if they are butchering themselves and making themselves look ugly.

Hello! I would like to get the opinion from the persons who work repairing cars when the car has been in an accident. I’m sure that the “lowest price car insurance” may help me save money, but may turn out to be lousy insurance/slow pay when the time comes for them to have to pay out. Used to be State Farm, Farmers and Geico were the best, but insurance companies are competing so much now, all are doing things to reduce cost. Unfortunately the way they most do it is force the shop to do less quality repairs. The technicians suffer the most because they work on commission basis. Some companies like Allstate and Progressive have always been bad.
Stay away from the insurance companies that have to advertise so much, they get all that advertising money from technicians and sub quality repair of your vehicle.
I prefer a smaller independent shop away from the large metropolis’s because I have always had great service and quality.

My hubby plays WOW and he just got a whisper from someone named Blizzjoe.. this is the exact message:
“Greeetings! Blizzard system scan to your account a violation of rules of the game’s virtual currency trading! Please visit our website http://us.blizzard-safe.net review your account information or we will suspend your account. Blizzard Entertainment.”
Is this for real or is someone trying to hack his account?

Never played WoW but that seems like an account scammer to me. Blizzard would email you or at the most suspend your account first and then state your violation for you to fix. Don’t fall for it.

You can also try clicking the “Products” tab at the top. Note that GoDaddy often uses some strange names for their services. Instead of “Hosting” you might see a product name like “WebSite Tonite.”

I think it allows the insurance company to pay your commission through the agency you work for since they get part of it. Just like a real estate company getting the commissions directed to them and they pay the selling or listing ahent. Standard stuff so don’t worry about it.
